Ms Bee is Backing Britain Part 4:In Conclusion

Look what I found below (1),anyway let me get on with it.

1.

Well thank you Olay for the original slogan, but in this case I'll rephrase that to 'Love the country your in'.Unless your country tells you otherwise ( e.g ethical and human rights related issues). The UK compared to many places on Earth has it all, free education, free health care aka the NHS,a welfare state, freedom of speech ,equal opportunities for men and women, successful businesses and much more.In general, the positives outweighs the negatives, even in these credit crunching/post recession (what ever it is now) times.

Finally,we must try not  to compare ourselves with others,as we are all unique and have different skills and talents. Which is what I hope the 'harsh crowd' realised when I argued my case to them (your lucky you got the 'short' version).

P.S. Thank you to everyone who read my post (s) on my Thursday Night/Friday morning thoughts

Ms Bee is Backing Britain Part 2:SPORT

So Britain never win anything !!

Well if you don't know by now,Team GB finished third overall,in their most successful European Championship finals ever.Securing 6 Gold,7 Silver and 6 Bronze medals, which is an amazing achievement for the 'so-so' Team GB. Personally as a fan of Athletics,I would like to congratulate Team GB on their performance in Barcelona. The UK should be proud of this achievement, especially as Mo Farah (27) and Jessica Ennis (24),have both achieved so much at an young age.

1.

The future of Atheletics include first ever British Men's European Champion in the 5,000 and 10,000 metres Mo Farah (1) and Women's European Champion in Heptathlon Jessica Ennis (2).Britain has also seen success in the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing, China where they came second after China with 102 medals won in total.Britain has also been successful in recent years in many other sports including Football,Rubgy,Snooker and Cricket.

Thought for Thought on a Thursday

Firstly, welcome to my blog.

It will feature many different topics of interest in the months to come but right now I am going to touch on the issue related our perception of success.Well our perception of how people in the UK measure the countries success.

Well,I don't find this surprising but as people do,I ask the question, well state the point that everyone is entitled to their own opinion !! Yeah,oh course,I hear you say (along with what she on about)....but not everyone knows how to put their point across. Well I for one have many opinions but I do like to listen others, whatever the topic,as their opinion is as important as mine.As everyone is different and we should be treated as equal (right !!!).
Well, recently I've had to voice my opinions to a 'harsh crowd' of self proclaimed 'non-confirmist's' (you know who you are).Who protested that the UK specifically England is TALENTLESS IN EVERYTHING....well in Sport,Music and Fashion. Pictured directly below is Chart Topper Dizzie Rascal (1) and also a still image taken from the Box Office Smash Hit Streetdance 3D (2).

2.

I'm a believer in Britain

For a moment I couldn't believe what I was hearing but then I realised I just heard the sound of the past.current and sadly future generation. ''Oh were not as good as everyone elses such as the Americans,at Sport,Music and Fashion .... their good at everything''', I heard from a voice on my left.

Isn't it sad that in 2010,in a country many admire is full of citizens who are so unaware of it's successes ! All of us have probably underestimated the country's potential at one point or another but could this have led to a self-fulfilling prophecy? (I'm this taking too far ?)

If that is the case we have a quite a 'handful' of sport, music and fashion personalities who have bucked the 'trend'.
