Well maybe I'll be okay too,if I was reportedly compensated with a $25,000 cash prize and an all-expenses paid trip to New York.Along with appearing on the cover of Harper's Bazaar,as Harper's decided to print half of the November Magazine's copies with Kelsey's cover shot,whilst the other half feature Amanda's shot.

In other news,the live final of Britain's Next Top Model will air on Monday 9pm on Living,lets hope this production team get it right.

Maybe it's me,but that there is such a wide range of quality music on offer this year.Ok,autotune is taking over again,but the soul which used to be found in genres such as RnB,is back.The debut single from American Artist Miguel featuring J-Cole is the perfect example of this.

The British media is full of 'Anti-Pope/Pro Secular protesters',bashing the Catholic faith,most of them are generalising hence claiming that all Catholics have the same beliefs as the Pope.I was raised as a Catholic and I for one do not go around preaching and telling everyone what they are doing is wrong.Not all Catholics or Christians do this.

Therefore I am excited that the Pope has reached London (as some say Lon-dan Tawhn),I doubt I will see the Popemobile as the City will come to a standstill later on today.I live around the surrounding area of where he is visiting,therefore I will have problems travelling around London,due to the diversions and road closures :( .Luckily,I won't miss out as he will probably be all over the T.V,to the dismay of many.Just remember that it's not everyday a Pope comes to UK to visit,it has been 28 years since the late Pope John Paul II last visited.

YES,his presence has caused a lot of displacement and controversy (1) in the UK.

WHY ?

I don't even have to mention why but I will

1. Something to do with the Catholic church's views on contraception,which the church strongly opposes against even in Southern Africa.Which has the highest number of HIV/AIDS sufferers in the world
2. The church does not believe in the act of abortion 
3. The church is also against homosexuality which led to protests during the Popes visit to Twickenham's St Mary's College.
4. The church does not ordain female priests.
5. The recent child abuse scandal,some would say,was ignored and was not handled well by the Vatican.To the victims and the worlds dismay,as many people believe the Pope should do more to protect Children.
6. His aid (a Cardinal) stated that 'arriving at Heathrow airport was like landing in a "Third World" country' , this could be in relation to fact that a large majority of the Heathrow employees are of an ethnic minority.
7. Therefore many people now believe that the Pope has the same attitude as his aid,therefore there is an assumption that he could be racist (DISCLAIMER: MS BEE DOES NOT THINK THAT THE POPE IS RACIST)
8. The British media and public,will never forget this remark.The English and the Germans have not always been the best of friends in the past,every, now and then something happens to ignite the feud ( this started with the war and then the football).
9. There have been reports in the media of a alleged terror threat to the Pope,which lead to the arrest of 6 men yesterday.
10. Lastly,it is reported that 10-12 million pounds of tax payers money was used to help fund the visit (2).

 
Well we will just have to wait and see what happens later on Today.

Well Bruno Mars is one of them.He popped onto our screens and radios this year,whilst featuring on B.O.B's Nothing On You and Travie McCoy's Billionaire.He has also co-written Flo Rida's Right Round,K'naan's Wavin' Flag and Cee Lo Green's F*** You. Also known as Forget You which is the official radio edit. 

His debut solo release is already hit with us ladies especially if the comments on the web are anything to go by.These include 'I dedicate this to myself' and 'This song almost makes me cry!'

New Beginnings

It's September,I'm back with another rant,YES it's the 9th month of the year,but it's always a time to reflective time.Remember that September is the month,when the school year starts,the British 'summer' comes to an end yet everyone seems a lot more hopeful .Therefore September is a great month,if you have set goals at the beginning of the year as NOW is the time to make sure they are met.

Three Random things which have caught my attention so far in September are :
TV-Dinner Date on ITV1 (think Come Dine With Me meets Speed Dating)
Beverages-Tonic Water (I know strange)
Music-F*** You by Cee Lo Green (from Gnarls Barkleys remember the song 'Crazy') ,I LOVE THIS
