Long time no see !

Hello readers,

I hope you are all well.

Hasn't this year just flown by ?

Well it definitely has for me. Luckily I have captured a few random and bizarre moments from the past few months for you to see:

March

1.1 I started a career in photography -
No, I'm sorry I haven't but I did persuade a sales assistant of hardware store
to model households items for me. Well,I was out sourcing materials for a shoot (read on to 1.2)
and I needed to tweet the pics of potential items to my colleague.

1.2. 'The Gnomely Way is Essex'. Yes,it is Lauren,Arg and Lydia
as you have never seen them before-
Who said that work experience wasn't any fun ?
During my time at Fever PR and Colombus Communications I worked on a range of accounts (brands)
such as Toshiba, Canon Europe and Phones4U. My duties varied greatly from updating media lists, liaising with journalists and collecting items from various homeware stores throughout London (with the help of Addison Lee). I was also lucky enough to assist the team on the set of the Gnomes4U (April fools stunt) photo-shoot.
1.3 The finished product-
Other celebrity gnomes included Stacey Solomon,
Tom Jones and Simon Cowell
April
2. Chaos on the Kings Road !
Why, do you ask ? Two words... Zac Efron
May

3.Bunting mania-
I was just happy to see that my catchment area (the lower end of the Kings Road) along with the rest of Chelsea received a
'stylish makeover' as part of the Jubilee celebrations.

4. I made a contribution-
During my time as intern within Alzheimer's Society's Central Press Office,  I was given the task to contribute to the 'In the Press' segment of their membership magazine
entitled  Living with Dementia magazine.

Look out for some more random 'pics' in the future.

D'Banj - Oliver Twist

D'Banj who is signed to Kanye West's Good Music is a favourite on the Afrobeat scene and his highly anticipated video for Olive Twist has finally arrived. It features various cameo's which include the UK's very own Keisha Buchanan (previously from the Sugababes).

Michael Kiwanuka

Afternoon everyone,I hope you are enjoying the sunny weather we have here in the UK today.

After passing by a poster advertising the debut album Home Again by the UK's newest rising star Michael Kiwanuka, for the fifth time this week. I decided to 'google' him, to see what the fuss was about and I am so glad that I did.

Michael brings something different to the UK market,in a world where Rhythm and Blues no long stands for R&B.Yet his soulful tones and heartfelt lyrics has earnt him critical acclaim, alongside comparisons with musical greats such as Otis Reading. Michael has also won the BBC's Sound of 2012 poll, his gig at the Shepard's Bush Empire has sold out and his debut album is currently at No.4 in the UK.What a great start to the year !

I will leave you with Tell Me A Tale, which has a great orchrestral feel and is the perfect listen for a lovely Spring day.
